NanoFex is a Tulane University spinout company, incubated at the New Orleans BioInnovation Center. NanoFex develops and produces next generation cellulose nanospheres using a customized spray dryer process to produce a nano-particle powder that can be injected into the ground very precisely, in a similar fashion to the in-situ technologies currently commercially deployed in the field. NanoFex specializes in product development and manufacturing, with field deployment parternships targeting the industrial and private soil and groundwater remediation market.

 

Management Team

 

The NanoFex management team has proven scientific and entrepreneurial skills to succeed in building this innovative technology venture. David Culpepper, P.G. is the NanoFex CEO. Mr. Culpepper has over 20 years of experience in the environmental remediation industry, and is familiar with the technical and management practices of the environmental remediation industry. His consulting group, The Culpepper Group, LLC was incorporated in 2002 and he has seen growing success since. Dr. Vijay John is the NanoFex Scientific Advisor. Dr. John is a Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Tulane University and is an experienced expert in chemical remediation.
